Programme 1 – Namibia Highlights (14 days)
“Where desert, wildlife and wide open spaces meet” – This journey leads through the heart of Namibia: from the Kalahari through the mighty Fish River Canyon, the dreamlike solitude of the NamibRand Reserve at Wolwedans, the Atlantic coast in Swakopmund and on to the legendary waterholes of Etosha. For families, couples and everyone who wants to experience the very best of Namibia in one journey.

Windhoek → Kalahari
Arrival at Windhoek Airport – Wynand greets you. Drive south to the Kalahari. First game drive in the afternoon: oryx, springbok, ostriches, perhaps a jackal. Sundowners at sunset.

Kalahari – Safari & Cheetahs
Morning game drive in the soft light of dawn. Afternoon drive in search of rhino, followed by the lodge’s cheetah project – an unforgettable encounter with these magnificent big cats. Sundowners overlooking the dunes.

Kalahari → Fish River Canyon
Drive through lonely landscapes to the mighty Fish River Canyon. The lodge sits spectacularly on the canyon rim. Depending on arrival time: sunset walk with unforgettable views into the depths.

Fish River Canyon
A full day at the world’s second largest canyon: 4×4 canyon drive deep into the gorge. Fascinating geological formations, ancient rock layers, millions of years of earth history. Sundowners on the canyon rim.

NamibRand / Wolwedans
Three days in the solitude of the NamibRand Nature Reserve – one of the darkest night skies on earth. Wolwedans is far from the tourist trail: pure silence, wide plains, dramatic sand dunes. Activities of your choice: scenic drives, bush walks, e-biking, horse riding. Every night: a sky full of stars. Optional: day trip to Sossusvlei – salt and clay pan surrounded by the world’s highest dunes. Optional: scenic flight at sunset over the dunes to the coast.

Swakopmund
From the solitude of Wolwedans to the Atlantic coast. Swakopmund combines German colonial charm with African ease – timber-framed buildings, a magnificent beachfront promenade, cafés. Time to stroll, shop and breathe sea air.

Swakopmund → Etosha National Park
Drive to Etosha National Park. In the afternoon, first wildlife observations at the lodge waterhole – elephants, zebras and springbok come regularly.

Etosha National Park
Onguma Bush Camp sits right next to a waterhole. Daily morning and evening game drives with Wynand: lion prides, rhino silhouettes, flamingos on the salt pan. Special highlight: the Dream Cruiser – one night sleeping under the stars on an open safari roof.

Windhoek & Departure
Farewell to predators and elephants. Drive to the capital Windhoek. Optional: city tour with Wynand – Christ Church, colonial buildings, local markets. Dinner. Last breakfast, then transfer to the airport.

Programme 2 – Namibia North with Caprivi (15 days)
“Safari adventure by land, water and on foot” – This journey takes you to the highlights of northern Namibia: unforgettable safaris in Etosha, the legendary desert elephants of Damaraland, the rich wildlife of the Caprivi Strip and the Kwando River. Namibia at its greenest and most water-rich – for those seeking more than a classic desert journey.

Windhoek → Etosha
Arrival at Windhoek Airport, Wynand picks you up. Drive towards the Etosha Pan. First game drive in the afternoon: lions, cheetahs, hyenas. Sundowners.

Etosha – Safari
As many game drives as you like: morning and afternoon through Etosha National Park. Or simply relax at the lodge.

Etosha → Damaraland
Last breakfast in Etosha Park, then drive to Damaraland. Arrival, lodge, relaxation.

Damaraland – Desert Elephants
Full-day excursion: flora and fauna of Damaraland. With luck, we’ll encounter the legendary desert elephants – animals that have adapted over millennia to this harsh landscape, recognisable by their unusually large feet. Sundowners and stories about the day’s encounters.

Damaraland → Etosha
Farewell to the desert elephants, drive back to Etosha Park. Afternoon game drive with Wynand.

Etosha – Dream Cruiser
Drive across the park. In the evening: the special highlight awaits – sleeping alone under the stars in the wild. The Dream Cruiser provides safety and comfort for this unforgettable night.

Etosha – Safari
Return to Bush Camp with eyes full of unforgettable impressions. Rest, then an afternoon game drive.

Etosha → Cubango River
Last breakfast in Etosha Park, drive north. On arrival: sunset boat cruise on the Cubango River. With luck: hippos, crocodiles.

Cubango → Caprivi / Bwabwata National Park
Drive into the Caprivi Strip, arrival in Bwabwata National Park. Evening: sunset boat cruise on the Kwando River – crocodiles, hippos, birds.

Caprivi – Safari by Land & Water
Morning: boat cruise in the unforgettable stillness of the Caprivi – a soulful experience on waterways reminiscent of the Okavango Delta. Afternoon: game drive in Bwabwata National Park. Possible sightings: buffalo, hippos, roan antelope, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, crocodiles, lions, leopards, cheetahs.

Caprivi → Nambwa Tented Camp by African Monarch
Drive east (approx. 200 km) to one of the most extraordinary camps in southern Africa. Nambwa Tented Lodge is perched high in the treetops of Bwabwata National Park – the only private lodge within the park. Elephant migration paths run directly under your suite; timber walkways connect the 10 treehouse suites through the canopy. On arrival: a complimentary sherry in your treehouse suite. Evening: open-sky sundowner dinner on the majestic viewing deck overlooking the floodplains.

Nambwa – Elephants, Boat & Bush
At dawn: tea or coffee with homemade biscuits delivered to your tent. From your private treehouse deck, watch the sky ignite with hues of purple and amber. Activities of your choice throughout the day: game drive in search of the Big Four – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and wild dogs; guided bush walk; boat cruise on the Kwando River; romantic bush picnic or open-sky bush dining. Often no game drive is needed – elephants and other wildlife wander directly beneath the decks and walkways.

Nambwa → Cubango River
Farewell to Nambwa. Drive back through the Caprivi. Evening relaxation at the lodge.

Cubango → Waterberg Plateau
Drive south. Afternoon: Rhino Drive – up close with rhino in their natural habitat.

Waterberg → Windhoek – Departure
Even the most beautiful journey must come to an end. Wynand drives you to the airport.

Our Programme
Programme 3 – Botswana / Caprivi / Zambia (12 days)
“The Three Countries” – Three countries, three rivers, countless wildlife encounters. Starting at Chobe in Botswana – one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich national parks – through the legendary Caprivi Strip with its unique treehouse suites, ending at Victoria Falls. For those who want to experience southern Africa in all its diversity. This programme also appears on the “Botswana” and “Zambia” pages – linked with the same itinerary.

Chobe National Park, Botswana
Arrival at Kasane Airport – Wynand picks you up. Chobe National Park is renowned for its vast elephant herds – over 120,000 animals. Two activities daily: game drive in the park or boat safari on the Chobe River. It would be a miracle if you didn’t see elephants bathing and playing at the river.

Caprivi
The centrepiece of this journey. Nambwa Tented Lodge sits elevated in the treetops of Bwabwata National Park as the only private lodge within the park. Elephant paths run directly through the camp – guests walk on timber boardwalks over elephant routes to their 110 m² treehouse suites. At dawn: tea and homemade biscuits delivered to your tent. From your private deck, watch the sky illuminate in purple and amber. The majestic main deck offers open-sky dining overlooking the floodplains – a playground for elephant, buffalo and plains game herds that seek refuge under your suite at night. Activities: game drives for the Big Four, exclusive guided bush walks (the only lodge with this park permit), boat cruises, bush picnics and sundowners at the Horseshoe Lagoon. Optional: visit the Sijwa Project – an award-winning community initiative with permaculture garden, recycling workshop and cultural experience.

Livingstone, Zambia – Tongabezi Lodge
Cross into Zambia. The award-winning Tongabezi Lodge is nestled on the banks of the Zambezi, 12 km upstream from Victoria Falls. Romance and luxury with a dash of adventure. Activities: sunrise and sunset boat cruise, picnic on a private Zambezi island, visit to Victoria Falls.

Sindabezi Island Camp
Sindabezi Island Lodge is reached by boat from Tongabezi Lodge – on a small island in the middle of the Zambezi, just four private chalets. Seclusion without sacrificing service. The only footprints you’ll leave: in the silky-soft sand of the island.

Departure
Last breakfast with views over the Zambezi. Transfer to Livingstone Airport.
