Day 2: Kalahari – Safari & red dunes
As the first golden light spills across the red dunes, you set out on an early morning hike. For two quiet hours, you walk through the awakening savannah – the sand still cool, birdsong in the air, and oryx, springbok or even a jackal may cross your path.
In the afternoon, an open vehicle takes you deep into the vast Kalahari. The light shifts with every mile, shadows stretch long, and the desert glows. As the sun dips below the horizon, you raise a glass – a sundowner in hand, with endless views and the stillness of Africa all around.

Day 3: Drive to Fish River Canyon – Night walk
Your route continues south today – through wide open landscapes, remote settlements, and scenery that shifts with every kilometre. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the mighty Fish River Canyon – 160 km long, up to 550 metres deep, and ranked among the largest canyons in the world.
After dinner, a special adventure begins: on a guided night walk, you explore the surroundings under starlight. With UV light, glowing scorpions and nocturnal insects appear, accompanied by mysterious sounds and the crunch of sand beneath your feet – a magical experience.

Day 4: Fish River Canyon – Gondwana Canyon Park
The day begins with a visit to two of the canyon’s most breathtaking viewpoints, where ancient landscapes stretch to the horizon. Your guide brings the geological story to life – from tectonic forces to the shaping power of water.
After a scenic pause with snacks and drinks, you return to the lodge for a relaxed lunch and time to unwind.

Between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., you return to Namib Desert Lodge to collect your luggage, then continue westward – destination: Swakopmund. In the evening, you’re free to choose how to spend your final hours in Namibia: enjoy a relaxed dinner in town, shop for souvenirs, or simply unwind and reflect on the journey behind you.

Today you travel across Etosha National Park once again – another chance to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, and the many other wild inhabitants of this vast reserve.
Every waterhole and savannah clearing holds the promise of a wildlife encounter. After an eventful day on safari, you arrive at your new lodge in the afternoon – a peaceful place to unwind, reflect, and enjoy the last light of the African day.

We cannot guarantee the described wildlife sightings during this trip. These are intense nature experiences amidst wild animals, whose behavior cannot be fully predicted. Even if sightings are likely, there may be no sightings at all – in this case, a refund of the trip price is excluded. Of course, we and our experienced local partners will do everything in our power to offer you the best possible viewing opportunities.
If any accomodation should be fully booked at your travel time, we will reserve an equivalent alternative – this does not constitute a deficiency and does not entitle to a price reduction.

We cannot guarantee the described wildlife sightings during this trip. These are intense nature experiences amidst wild animals, whose behavior cannot be fully predicted. Even if sightings are likely, there may be no sightings at all – in this case, a refund of the trip price is excluded. Of course, we and our experienced local partners will do everything in our power to offer you the best possible viewing opportunities.
If any accomodation should be fully booked at your travel time, we will reserve an equivalent alternative – this does not constitute a deficiency and does not entitle to a price reduction.
The order in which the activities and tours take place might vary, depending on the best day to travel.
If the route is not passable due to unforeseeable circumstances such as weather conditions, political events or similar, the program will be adjusted accordingly. In doing so, we aim to stay as close as possible to the planned itinerary. This does not constitute a defect and does not entitle you to a reduction in the tour price.
